Eric and I have been married for 3 years!

Door County Vacation

We spent last Friday through Monday in Door County for a wedding and fathers day.

First Family Camping Trip

This past weekend we went camping at the lake. Eric and Anthony fished, while Elliot, Polly and I enjoyed the shade. It was almost 80!!
On our first family camping trip we did learn a few things.
Bring pre-made sandwiches if you are going arrive at noon.
Never set up camp at the hottest part of the day.
Check for ticks often
Bring a fan for Elliot
Be prepared to stay up as long as it takes for your 2 year old to pass out! (midnight)
Dont forget a flashlight
Make sure your 2 yr old doesnt accidentally shock the dog :( (polly is ok)

It was still lots of fun- Anthony was so excited to be outside all day and sleep in a tent. He also caught his first fish- with just a little help from dad.

Polly's Birthday

We had a little birthday party for Polly on Friday. She really liked her peanut butter cake creation.

The Potty

So on Sunday, Anthony decided that his diapers were itchy and he didnt want to wear them anymore. We didnt have underware yet either- so he had nothing on just his pants. He did pretty good, we made it to the potty about 3 or 4 times. He made sure he read his train book every time he sat down. It only lasted a day, on monday we wanted nothing to do with the potty.



It must be pretty exhausting to go on the potty- he passed out on the couch, first time ever!

Later we bought some "Cars" underwear.

Big Boy!

At Elliot's 2 month check up he weighed in at 15 pounds and 6 oz!!!! That is 99th percentile! He is proving to be the opposite of his brother. (Anthony has never been over the 25th percentile in anything) Now if i could only get him to sleep longer....

Big weekend

This weekend Mommy took Anthony Elliot and Polly down to the Chicago area for a fun filled weekend. Friday we met up with our friends Jenn and Mike and their dog Ozzy and stayed the night at Aunt Angie and Uncle Jays house. Then Saturday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Lazzara's house to play. And Sunday was the Walk for Jay downtown.

Walk for Jay

Sunday was the Stride to Save Lives walk (in chicago). It is a 2 mile walk to raise money for brain tumor research. Our team Js Crew raised over $5000! It was a perfect day for a walk by the lakefront.
