Race Cars
Since our birthday theme was Race Cars, on Anthonys actual birthday we went to the Matt Kenseth museum to see some real race cars. Anthony liked to see the cars up close and then he even got his own Matt Kenseth race car (matching his sandbox).

Catching up
The last few weeks we have been very busy. There have been lots of birthdays to celebrate and of coarse Mothers Day! Here is a some pictures of the last few weeks.

The Lake
We have finally closed on our lake lot and to celebrate we packed a picnic lunch and enjoyed the sunny weather. It was a tight fit but we were able to fit everyone including Polly in the Jeep.
The past few weeks
The past few weeks have been interesting.
Anthony likes to help give Elliot a bath and Polly likes to watch too- can we fit anyone else in here?
We had some visitors, Emilie and Todd drove up for the day and Elliot met his first friend, Hailey!
Sometimes things are a little silly around here. Anthony needed to eat his mac and cheese in the front door.
And Anthony likes to take showers with Mommy and Daddy now- sometimes you just have to go with it.
There has been lots of boy bonding.
And we have been to the zoo a few times. Yes, Anthony is sitting on the floor watching the Alligator float.

Its a BOY!
We are pleased to announce that Elliot came into the world on April 4th at 4:07am. Weighing 7lb 15oz and 20in long.
The birth story is pretty short and sweet. I started having contractions at 1:30am, we left for the hospital around 2:30, and I started pushing at 4:02am and 5 min later Elliot was here!
It could not have worked out better that Anthony was already sleeping over at Grandma and Grandpa Kopps house because he was going to an Easter Egg Hunt the next day. Anthony had a long day but he did pretty good. He came up to meet his brother and still had time to fit the easter egg hunt in. Thank you to all of our family that watched Anthony while we were at the hospital.
