The beginning of August

The following posts are what we have been up to this August. We started the month in Chicago watching Eric run the Chicago half marathon.

It was also Grandma Linda's Birthday! Anthony helped her blow out the candles.

Mid August

I went to a brewer game with my sister-in-law and cousins. Eric and I met up with my Uncle Tom at the Packer game. And Anthony and Elliot have been silly as usual. Anthony found Eric's headphones and was pushing his race car around the track I drew on the driveway.

Race weekend

We ended the month of August at the races. It was the NASCAR truck race and the INDY race. We brought Anthony with us to see the INDY race cars. He was so excited!

Broke out the slip n slide today and Anthony loved it! It took him all day, but he finally got it.

Every time Elliot would get on his little bike he could only push backwards, now he figured out how to go forward. He is a little slow but we are getting somewhere.

4th of July

I am finally posting pictures from the Fourth. We have been so busy that I am just downloading the pictures now. It has been a long time since I was in Arlington Heights for the fourth of July, we took the boys to the Frontier Days Festival and they had a great time. Anthony was just tall enough to go on the rides.


Great Uncle John took Elliot on the merry-go-round. I cant tell who is having more fun.
